Michigan State squeaks past IPFW

You couldn’t find it on any ordinary television broadcast, but maybe that’s a good thing.

The Spartans, who crushed their exhibition opponents and then routed Idaho on Sunday, avoided defeat at IPFW on Wednesday evening.

Raymar Morgan chipped in 22 points, and Kalin Lucas added 17 for Michigan State.

Tom Izzo will not be very happy with his team’s effort, despite a 2-0 record.

Next up for MSU is Maryland on Thanksgiving Day, in the opening round of the Old Spice Classic.
